<p>Must Have Technical/Functional Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience Engine and Onboard diagnostics (OBD) controls development </li><li>Experience in Controls modeling in MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, Autocode generation </li><li>Experience in Code coverage, Static code analysis, MIL, SIL, HIL validation </li><li>Experience in Design Verification Plan (DVP) development </li><li>Good understanding of Embedded Software Architecture and Development Process. </li><li>Strong understanding of Automotive Powertrain Domain and engine/powertrain control strategies </li><li>Understanding of MISRA C and ASPICE processes. </li><li>Understanding of ICE/Hybrid/Electric Vehicles and Microcontrollers </li><li>Understanding of CAN, LIN, UDS, OBD-II communication </li></ul> <p>Roles & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement embedded control and diagnostic software for engine systems using MATLAB Simulink and stateflow. </li><li>Implement interface communication protocols (CAN, LIN, J1939, OBD-II) between ECU and vehicle systems </li><li>Support software architecture development for AutoSAR using SystemDesk. </li><li>Lead development within agile/Lean-Agile SCRUM teams. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, calibration, systems, and vehicle integration) </li><li>Prototype Software Generation support </li><li>Participate in technical reviews and feature presentations for the related stakeholders. </li><li>Produce and maintain Control Design Documents. </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards and coding guidelines (e.g., MISRA). </li><li>Support integration and troubleshooting during development and deployment. </li><li>Author and maintain rigorous test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria </li><li>Perform unit, integration and component hardware in loop testing. </li></ul> <p>Generic Managerial Skills, If any</p> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills with ability to identify and work with the appropriate contacts and resources to resolve issues in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per annum</p> <p>TCS Employee Benefits Summary:</p> <p>Discretionary Annual Incentive.</p> <p>Comprehensive Medical Coverage: Medical & Health, Dental & Vision, Disability Planning & Insurance, Pet Insurance Plans.</p> <p>Family Support: Maternal & Parental Leaves.</p> <p>Insurance Options: Auto & Home Insurance, Identity Theft Protection.</p> <p>Convenience & Professional Growth: Commuter Benefits & Certification & Training Reimbursement.</p> <p>Time Off: Vacation, Time Off, Sick Leave & Holidays.</p> <p>Legal & Financial Assistance: Legal Assistance, 401K Plan, Performance Bonus, College Fund, Student Loan Refinancing.</p> <p>#LI-SV2</p> <p>#LI-KUMARAN</p>
