You will also function as part of the WorkWell team that travels within the community to local businesses to provide occupational health, worker's compensation, and wellness services to their employees Here, you will be surrounded by a compassionate team and endless opportunities to learn and grow.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works varying hours between 8:00AM - 8:00PM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer medications and treatments.</p> </li><li> <p>Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.</p> </li><li> <p>Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.</p> </li><li> <p>Cover other nursing roles within the department.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN program)</p> </li><li> <p>Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross</p> </li><li> <p>One year of recent experience as an RN</p> </li><li> <p>Will consider LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good hand-eye coordination, involves extensive standing walking and occasional lifting.</p> </li><li> <p>Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.</p> </li><li> <p>Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.</p> </li><li> <p>Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.</p> </li><li> <p>Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</p> </li><li> <p>Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.</p> </li></ul> <p>Personal Protective Equipment:</p> <ul> <li>Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>Minimum hourly: $31.50</p> <p>Maximum hourly: $49.90</p> <p>The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
