This position is designed for someone with a growth mindset and a commitment to safety and quality compliance. You will receive specialized training in Large Power Transformer Manufacturing as well as cross-train in new processes as you progress in your job role. You will gain unique and valuable skills that will set you apart in the world of Large Power Transformers.</p> <p>How You'll Make an Impact</p> <ul> <li>Performing the assembly of the active part of the transformers including coils, angle rings, cylinders, etc. and making the necessary connections </li><li>Carrying out the assembly of the frames for fixing cables and busbars according to the drawings </li><li>Operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and performing welding when needed </li><li>Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work plans and performing final inspections and quality checks in accordance with technical requirements and standards </li><li>Planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plan and manufacturing standards. </li><li>Responsible to fulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.]. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>High school degree or equivalent experience with experience in assembly of the active part of the transformers including coils, angle rings, cylinders, etc. </li><li>Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, and perform complex measurements. </li><li>Applicant must obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community college as well as a Forklift License and a Critical Lift level crane license and certification for working in heights. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Other Key Requirements:</p> <p>Successful applicants must pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests, and be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English.</p> <p>Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training.
