<p>We are searching for an experienced production leader!</p> <p>This role requires strong communication skills, experience with multiple product lines, thinking ahead, problem-solving and an unwavering commitment to quality & customer service. Recognizing how the role we play in production influences a customer to choose our product over the next.</p> <p>This is a leadership position that assists in making decisions on all aspects of Fresh Seasons Kitchen business. This includes new products, R&D, equipment investments, and will lead the production and assembly aspects of our business. etc.</p> <p>The ideal candidate has food production experience, loves winning, strong in problem-solving, solution-focused, detail-oriented, driven, self-directed, exhibits leadership qualities and excels at working as a key member of a team. The ability to multi-task while maintaining clear, positive communication (internally and externally) and adapting/contributing to this fast-growing organization, is essential in this position.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Production Scheduling </li><li>Team Training & employee development </li><li>Lead production teams </li><li>Assist in managing inventory and orders to ensure all components are ready for successful production </li><li>Assumes personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone </li><li>Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while incorporating safety and health in all jobs and tasks </li><li>Oversee regulatory compliance, including USDA </li><li>Work in tandem with QA Director to ensure proper processes and training for teams' development </li><li>Manage line equipment, employees and raw materials so that all are prepared to meet the production schedule by planning and anticipating production needs </li><li>Identify problems, coordinate and facilitate meetings with appropriate groups as required to identify and implement solutions </li><li>Supervise and manage employees by ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed, initiate disciplinary action and evaluate performance </li><li>Conduct frequent line tours and adhere to standard work </li><li>Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete and on time </li><li>Communicate with managers and other supervisors about status of employees and production </li><li>Lead and conduct safety training and make sure all employees have required safety equipment </li><li>Promote team environment and facilitate cross-functional teams to drive safety, quality and productivity improvements </li><li>Ensure all policies, procedures and activities related to Food Safety & Quality are followed and complied with to reduce product and process variability </li><li>Ownership for regulatory compliance with the FDA, USDA and Minnesota Department of Agriculture are a key responsibility in this role </li><li>Performs other related duties and assined by leadership </li></ul> <p>Who we are:</p> <p>At Fresh Seasons Kitchen, we focus on delivering chef-driven, convenient items prepared with hand-crafted, high-quality ingredients.
