We don't want you to live to work, we want you to work and live.</p> <p>What you can expect as an Avionics Install Technician at West Star:</p> <p>Whether you are replacing or repairing complex avionics systems, troubleshooting electrical systems or performing inspections on some of the most sophisticated civilian aircraft in the world, no day is the same. What is the same, is that each day will bring new experiences and opportunities for growth.</p> <p>You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:</p> <ul> <li>Removal and installation of panels, components and interiors, as well as repair work on avionics installations. </li><li>Stamp, bundle and install connectors on wiring. </li><li>Removal of old wiring and installation of new wire bundles in aircraft. </li><li>Troubleshooting and evaluation of avionics systems on the aircraft when designated. </li><li>Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components when designated. </li><li>Aircraft movement and assistance in hangar stack when required </li><li>Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling </li><li>Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases </li><li>Work within a team process </li><li>Work independently on projects when required. </li><li>Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English </li><li>Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management. </li></ul>
