During the course of provision of care, the APRN may order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests and prescribe pharmacologic agents, treatments, and non-pharmacologic therapies. Acts as a resource to address patient questions. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinic setting. Provides routine follow-up evaluations for obstetric patients and coordinates follow-up care with the other practice providers as needed. Completes documentation of the management of these patients.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Current Certification of Nurse Midwife by the RI Department of Health</p> <p>Completion of the approved nurse practitioner program and certification by ANCC and/or AANP</p> <p>Credentialing required for appointment to the Medical Staff of South County Hospital Allied Health Staff</p> <p>Two years of relevant practice experience are required.</p> <p>South County Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
