A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.</p> <p>About the role</p> <p>The Dairy Down Stream Category Buyer leads and implements strategic sourcing activities within the Dairy category by understanding markets, ensuring long-term supply, optimizing delivered costs, and building positive supplier and stakeholder relationships</p> <p>Key responsibilities</p> <p>Manages categories that have a high/very high level of complexity taking into account the (Category 1, 2, 3, etc), scale, strategic importance, level of riskk, bespoke, commercia model structure number of suppliers, pricing variables in the category. </p> <p>Utilize a variety of tools and techniques to negotiate contracts, improve pricing and terms of purchase with suppliers and review new opportunities to make business savings </p> <p>Ensure Raw Material supply continuity </p> <p>Develop long-lasting relationships with Kerry GIO and Kerry-wide stakeholder community, ensuring their requirements are accounted for in category strategy </p> <p>Build the Procurement brand across Kerry to ensure Procurement is seen as strategic partner and value creator for Kerry </p> <p>Drive insight and improvements across cost, risk and value for Kerry, by delivering product and materials changes aligned to business objectives and identifying and delivering product and material optimization projects, challenge RD&A and Sales team on as-is specifications</p> <p>Qualifications and skills</p> <p>College Degree in Business, Finance or similar degree or equivalent experience</p> <p>1-3 years experience in a Procurement or similar business function</p> <p>The typical hiring range for this role is $63,000 to $116,900 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).</p> <p>Kerry is an equal opportunity employer.
