<p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>$1,500 Sign on Bonus* </li></ul> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Cleans and disinfects patient, ancillary and public areas as assigned daily following established procedures. </li><li>Operates manual, battery-powered and electric equipment such as mechanical floor cleaners and vacuums. Maintains and stores all equipment in a safe, sanitary manner. </li><li>Collects, handles and disposes of designated waste streams and soiled linens in the prescribed manner. </li><li>Completes stat and routine discharge room cleans. </li><li>Identifies and reports work orders for maintenance/refurbishing needs. </li><li>Inspects EVS equipment for cleanliness and need for repair. </li></ul> <p>As an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) at CHI Health, you'll join a team of EVS techs who prioritize the safety of our employees, patients, and visitors by ensuring a safe and sanitized environment for all.</p> <p>To be successful in this role, you'll need to understand the importance of why and how we sanitize and disinfect different environments. You are in total control of your space- where process and supplies matter.
