<p>Job#: 3017971</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Role: Senior Fullstack Software Engineer</p> <p>Location: 100% Remote</p> <p>Employment Type: 6 month contract to hire</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help drive the continued evolution of a connected equipment solution. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative development process, working on a complex and evolving platform. You will focus on designing and developing new features, writing code, and continuously enhancing the performance and scalability of the product line.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and deliver new features for a complex and evolving IoT platform. </li><li>Write high-quality, efficient, scalable, and reusable code. </li><li>Take ownership of work by writing unit tests and ensuring the reliability and performance of code. </li><li>Collaborate within a highly engaged, cross-functional development team. </li><li>Provide technical leadership through mentoring, coaching, and supporting fellow developers. </li><li>Contribute to architectural decisions, database optimization, and API design. </li><li>Partner with product managers to define, scope, and plan new features. </li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic technical initiatives. </li><li>Work with QA to ensure cohesive, high-quality, and user-centric solutions. </li><li>Actively participate in and help improve the agile development process. </li><li>Produce clear, detailed, and maintainable documentation. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of professional development experience. </li><li>Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer working on complex, large-scale platforms. </li><li>Substantial experience with SQL. </li><li>Experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based architectures. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and business problems across diverse software architectures. </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Substantial experience with JavaScript and Node.js (Express/Hapi) is required. </li><li>Front-end experience with React, including micro-frontends and complex UI workflows. </li><li>Experience with Sequelize ORM and Postgres. </li><li>Familiarity with AWS Managed Services such as Cognito, SES, SNS, DynamoDB, Redis, OpenSearch, S3, ELB, and EKS/Kubernetes. </li><li>Engineers with experience in C#, .NET, or Python are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate a willingness to transition into a JavaScript/Node.js-centric technology stack. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with NoSQL databases. </li><li>Experience with containerized application deployments, especially using Docker. </li><li>Experience with large-scale data systems. </li><li>Experience with message queueing architectures, particularly RabbitMQ. </li><li>Any IoT experience is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <p>The pay rate for this position is between $60.00/hour and $70.00/hour.
