The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the production process to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing of complex electronic systems. This role requires strong leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills to manage a team of production coordinators, technicians, and assembly operators.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Communication and Collaboration:</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate production plans, schedules, and performance to stakeholders, including customers (internal and/or external) and senior management.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, share best practices, and drive business growth.</p> </li><li> <p>Production Planning and Scheduling:</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and supply chain, to ensure smooth production flow.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze production capacity and identify opportunities for improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Team Leadership and Management:</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise a team of production coordinators, technicians, and assembly operators.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.</p> </li><li> <p>Process Improvement and Optimization:</p> </li><li> <p>Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production performance and identify areas for improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Quality and Compliance:</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure production processes comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Education, Experience, & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and experience in production management, preferably in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment. </li><li>Proven track record of leadership, team management, and process improvement. </li><li>Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, six sigma, and quality management systems (e.g., AS9001). </li><li>Experience with defense electronics products and familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR). </li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in a relevant field. </li><li>Five years plus experience as a production manager. </li><li>Certification in production and inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP). </li><li>Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle. </li><li>Familiarity with defense industry standards, such as AS9100 or NADCAP. </li></ul> <p>Pay Information</p> <p>Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457</p> <p>Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
