This role is ideal for an analytical, driven professional who is passionate about national security missions and wants to develop deep expertise in federal capture, competitive analysis, and opportunity shaping.</p> <p>As a Capture Analyst, you will serve as a force multiplier for our Capture Managersconducting research, analyzing markets, tracking opportunities, and helping craft winning strategies well before an RFP is released. This position offers exceptional visibility across Business Development, Engineering, Contracts, and Operations, and provides a strong career path into Capture Management or Proposal Development.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Conduct in-depth market, customer, competitor, and partner research to identify upcoming opportunities within DoD and federal agencies.</p> <p>Synthesize research into actionable insights that inform win themes, customer pain points, solution positioning, and competitive assessments.</p> <p>Support opportunity identification, qualification, and pipeline management using GovWin, Salesforce, and internal tools.</p> <p>Contribute to bid/no-bid recommendations through data-driven analysis.</p> <p>Assist in developing capture plans, to include customer analysis, procurement history, competitive landscape, teaming strategies, and draft win strategies.</p> <p>Track capture activities, actions, and deadlines; help maintain capture schedules and engagement plans.</p> <p>Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.</p> <p>Support proposal development efforts, including outlines, compliance checks, and content drafting when needed.</p> <p>Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather technical, programmatic, and past performance data that strengthens capture strategy.</p> <p>Maintain organized research repositories, trackers, and shared knowledge bases.</p> <p>What Youll Gain</p> <p>Direct mentorship from experienced Capture Managers, Proposal Leads, and Pricing SMEs.</p> <p>Exposure to full capture lifecycle activitiesfrom early shaping to proposal submission.</p> <p>Hands-on experience with color team reviews, competitive assessments, and pricing strategy.</p> <p>Collaboration with engineers, project managers, and corporate leadership across Sentar.</p> <p>Opportunities to influence high-impact pursuits supporting national defense missions.</p> <p>A strong résumé foundation for future roles in Capture, BD, or Program Management.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Clearance Level:</p> <p>U.S. citizenship required.</p> <p>Willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Bachelors degree or graduate student in Business, Data Analytics, Political Science, Engineering, or a related field.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate qualitative and quantitative information.</p> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> <p>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</p> <p>Ability to learn and use tools such as GovWin, Salesforce, SAM.gov, and other market research platforms.</p> <p>High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</p> <p>Proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and ability to manage multiple tasks.</p> <p>Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.</p> <p>Ability to work onsite as required.</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>Familiarity with federal government contracting, DoD acquisition processes, and the PPBE cycle.</p> <p>Understanding of the U.S. military, defense mission areas, or intelligence community.</p> <p>Previous experience in research, analysis, proposals, or business development.</p> <p>Benefits at Sentar:</p> <p>Our unique ownership model attracts top talent, giving employees the freedom to take initiative and drive meaningful improvements.
