The Program Manager will identify needed resources for projects, define and assign major program roles, lead the establishment of and sets integrated WBS-based budget and schedule baselines, and monitor work accomplished to baseline plans to ensure rate of work completion is sufficient to meet program/product schedules. Well rely on you to balance program risks and opportunities with executable strategies to meet technical requirements and budgets, as well as manage people who lead cross-functional program teams in matrix organization that are focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system from design to release for customers.</p> <p>REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:</p> <ul> <li>Willbe the primary point of contact from Manufacturing to Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and the customer when required. </li><li>Will represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts, projects and proposals. </li><li>Coordinate all manufacturing activity to achieve 100% on time delivery </li><li>Coordinate and communicate with project teams to ensure alignment with program objectives. </li><li>Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans. </li><li>Monitor program performance using appropriate tools and techniques. </li><li>Identify and manage program risks and issues and develop mitigation plans. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations. </li><li>Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders including customers. </li><li>Facilitate and lead meetings, including project kick-offs, status updates, and post-project reviews. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and project delivery. </li><li>Leads and manages proposals within business area. </li><li>Determine theManufacturing resources needed to support a project. </li><li>Requires only minimal supervision and very little technical assistance </li><li>Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Requires intense concentration to assure accurate completion of technical assignments </li><li>Requires multi-tasking abilities without losing focus to complete priority assignments </li><li>Requires the ability to research technical problems and summarize technical information as it applies to the given task </li><li>Requires the ability to plan, schedule and execute work </li><li>Grasps and applies new information quickly; handles more complex assignments </li><li>Shows initiative on assignments, and professionally executes projects with little direction </li><li>Mentors others on the team </li><li>Fully proficient ability to present technical information to peers using written and verbal approaches </li><li>Fully proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint </li><li>EVMS Certification may be required </li><li>May be required to travel </li></ul> <p>Workplace Options</p> <ul> <li>This position is 100% on-site in the Pittsfield, MA facility </li><li>While on-site, you will be a part of the Pittsfield, MA team. </li></ul> <p>Salary Note</p> <p>This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
