<p>WeShip Express is a logistics company that has operations located nationwide. We are seeking someone who is looking to get their foot in the door with a growing company.</p> <p>About the Position</p> <p>WeShip Express is seeking a part-time seasonal Warehouse Associate / Box Truck Driver to join our team. This position will work in our warehouse and drive a 26' box truck when needed as a backup for our regular driver.</p> <p>You must have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. When not driving, you will work in the warehouse unloading packages, loading packages, and preparing loaded pallets for transportation. We would prefer candidates have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train the right person.</p> <p>Warehouse Associate / Driver Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs quality inspections on outgoing shipments </li><li>Picks, packs, and handles materials for orders </li><li>Processes all packages for shipments to include packaging, labeling, stacking, and palletizing </li><li>Maintain safe, clean working environment </li><li>Participate in quality improvement processes </li><li>Load and organize product inventory from the customer into your vehicle and unload products in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day </li><li>Follow scheduled route for daily pickup </li><li>Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy </li><li>Complete daily before, during, and after truck inspection to ensure it remains in good operational condition </li><li>Process orders accurately and efficiently </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid drivers license </li><li>A clean driving record with no moving violations in the past five years </li><li>Proficient at driving and parking 26' box truck- minimum of 2 years of experience required </li><li>Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably </li><li>Able to work on your feet for 8-hours </li><li>Experience using hand pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and forklift </li><li>Dependable </li></ul> <p>Physical demands and work environment:</p> <ul> <li>Continually required to stand </li><li>Continually required to walk </li><li>Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity </li><li>Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl </li><li>Continually required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds </li><li>Continually work near moving mechanical parts </li></ul>
