If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester</p> <p>_<strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Purpose: As part of the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences team, the Social Media Coordinator and Student Ambassador will contribute to the Mount's efforts to attract, engage, and retain students through online channels and interaction with prospective students.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Department chair and SLHS faculty with managing a social media content calendar, creating posts and event announcements, monitoring conversations about MSJ, and measuring the effectiveness of overall efforts. </li><li>Schedule coordinated content on a biweekly basis with established weekly outreach activities (2-3 posts per week, follow-up email, etc.). </li><li>Assist with marketing opportunities to help promote the SLHS and Master of Speech-Language Pathology (MSLP) programs. </li><li>Conduct outreach activities to current university applicants and answer questions via email, by phone, via scheduled Zoom information sessions, and by text message using the Department's social media accounts to highlight the activities of the department. </li><li>Gather and interpret relevant data and metrics. </li><li>Occasional attendance and support at departmental promotional events such as open houses, yield events, etc. </li><li>Support the department with internal activities that support student engagement, student support, recruiting, and retention </li></ul>
