<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Position Summary: Provide Athletic Training Services to a local high school/college in coordination with physicians at Upstate Orthopedics. Infrequently provide patient care support in a clinic setting.</p> <p>Current High School Opening: Bishop Grimes</p> <p>25 hours/week with 15 hours/week clinic or assistance at other schools</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Availability after school hours to provide care to student athletes as schedule allows </li><li>Provide home game coverage to assigned school. </li><li>Travel with Varsity Football to away games as schedule allows. </li><li>Provide care in injury prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries, first aid, and emergency care. </li><li>Documentation of Injuries/Illness </li><li>Assist Athletic Director as needed </li><li>Proper Referral to overseeing Physician </li><li>Abide by standing orders with Physician and scope of practice in NYS </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training</p> <p>Current BOC Athletic Training Certification</p> <p>Current NYS Athletic Training Licensure from Dept. of Education</p> <p>BLS CPR/AED Certification - American Red Cross or American Heart Association</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Work Days:</p> <p>Monday - Friday flexed second shift - some Saturdays as needed</p> <p>Message to Applicants:</p> <p>L1: $60,406 - $66,950</p> <p>Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only.
