<p>As the Salesforce Senior Technical Manager, you will lead a team of technical professionals responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements while overseeing the technical architecture, quality, and delivery of projects on the Salesforce platform, along with strong leadership and communication skills to manage projects and stakeholder relationships effectively. This hands-on role involves crafting and executing the long-term vision for ADI's implementation of Salesforce, collecting feedback and gathering requirements from strategic business owners, and serving as the interface with tech and analytics partners to deliver high-quality solutions with the ability to scale. This role is responsible for ensuring that the platform aligns with ADI's business objectives, while using your extensive Salesforce knowledge and best practices to enhance our internal user experience and drive business value. This role demands a collaborative leader with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and priority management skills, capable of building and nurturing a high-performing team.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Understand the strategic imperatives, business capabilities, and operating model for each of the business functions then define/align the product strategy and roadmap for Salesforce platform </li><li>Assist business stakeholders to develop a plan for evolving Salesforce so that it supports and contributes to future revenue growth, customer satisfaction, competitive positioning and operating efficiency </li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and prioritize project deliverables </li><li>Be an expert with respect to system functionality and best practices for implementation and manage the execution of implementation plans from inception to successful completion, ensuring transparent status reporting. Collaborate closely with cross-functional Project and Program Managers throughout all phases of the initiatives </li><li>Oversee the development and implementing Salesforce changes that address current and future business needs </li><li>Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies </li><li>Engage in sprint demos or program reviews; Understands the desired and actual outcomes as well as the technology delivered by the team </li><li>Define technical architecture for Salesforce implementations, including data models, custom objects, workflows, and integrations </li><li>Review solution design and architecture and provide guidance and direction, provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams, reviewing code and design decisions </li><li>Perform hands-on tasks by leveraging Salesforce out-of-the-box capabilities, 3rd party apps and custom development </li><li>Serve as an escalation point in product level support for ongoing maintenance and production issues </li><li>Conduct comprehensive data element analysis across systems, mapping data flows, dependencies, and relationships to design robust data models </li><li>Performs after-hours support for critical production systems with occasional, scheduled maintenance or release deployments </li><li>Recruit, develop, and sustain a high-performing team while promoting a culture of shared accountability, operational excellence, and partnership across the organization </li><li>Manage a team of developers, QA and release engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship. Implement best practices for software development, data management, and system integration </li><li>Provide constructive feedback, guidance and coaching to help engineers grow their skills and experience. </li><li>Provides career planning advice to engineers and creates development plans to help them achieve their career goals </li><li>Shares domain and technical expertise by providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members </li><li>Collaborates with Data Engineers on data collection, data quality, and ETL projects feeding into the Enterprise Data platforms </li><li>Establish, maintain and nurture vendor/partner relationships to ensure optimal solutions </li><li>Provide input to key technical resources at critical points in the corporate-level decision-making process about long-range technical objectives </li></ul> <p>YOU MUST HAVE:</p> <ul> <li>10 + years of progressively responsible positions in Information Technology including 8+ years' experience in IT discipline, e.g., customer relationship management, portfolio strategy and roadmap development. </li><li>7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, customization, and administration </li><li>5+ years of experience managing or leading Salesforce engineering teams </li><li>Demonstrated leadership and experience managing multidiscipline, high-performance work teams. </li><li>Proven track record of delivering large-scale Salesforce implementations. Deep understanding of Salesforce platform features, capabilities, and limitations </li><li>Proficient in leveraging Salesforce Analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, and Tableau) to make data-informed decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs) </li><li>Expertise in Salesforce development tools like Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs </li><li>Experience with data integration, data migration, and data management strategies </li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and building subject matter expertise. </li><li>Ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, gather feedback, and clearly articulate product vision. </li><li>Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions based on insights gained. </li></ul> <p>WE VALUE:</p> <ul> <li>Sales Force certifications </li><li>Familiarity with other front and back-end technologies, e.g. Node.js, Angular etc. </li><li>Data Bricks or Snowflake knowledge is a plus. </li><li>Demonstrated innovation in designing Salesforce product enhancements or features that significantly improve user experience and business outcomes </li><li>Proven project management skills with ability to manage complex projects and timelines </li><li>Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce development </li><li>Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, including practical experience with AI/ML applications and LLMs </li></ul> <p>WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:</p> <ul> <li>Resideo provides comprehensive benefits, including life and health insurance, life assistance program, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, vacation & holidays. </li></ul> <p>#LI-WD1</p> <p>#LI-HYBRID</p>
