<p>The Continuing Education Division Leisure Learning program is continuously seeking part-time instructors to teach non-credit/community educational offerings in the area of leisure learning. Opportunities vary widely. If you have a self-designed curriculum you would like to propose for the division, please complete the application. Class selection is made on a term-by-term basis.</p> <p>Please note: Instructors are not permitted to sell products or services in their class.</p> <p>The Leisure Learning program seeks qualified instructors to provide affordable, varied, and outstanding non-credit lifelong learning opportunities to Lincoln/Lancaster County residents.</p> <p>Adjunct instructors provide local residents with positive educational experiences, teach valuable new skills, and provide community involvement.</p> <p>Proposals will be considered for additional review based on factors including but not limited to community demand, relevance to SCC Continuing Education objectives, existing courses, and the course potential for cost recovery.</p> <p>Application and class proposals do not guarantee acceptance.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Promote a Culture of Belonging</p> <p>Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students, faculty members, and college employees feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute. Support the College's policies and programming related to access, fair employment, and equal opportunities for all.</p> <p>Marginal Functions</p> <ul> <li>May be required to perform associated duties, functions, or assignments in other divisions/programs/areas as required. </li><li>Perform other College functions and duties as assigned. </li><li>Must be able to work varied days, hours, shifts, locations, and campuses as required. Work schedules (hours/days/work location) are scheduled by Southeast Community College based on the needs of the College. Work hours, shifts, days, and work locations may vary depending on the needs of Southeast Community College and are subject to modification.
