<p>What you'll do:</p> <p>A Senior Claims Analyst is responsible for evaluating insurance claims and ensuring that they are following company policies and procedures. In this role, you will be responsible for managing 1st party and 3rd party claims, ensure the appropriate cover is applied, determining the validity of the claim, and making recommendations for their settlement. You will work with other members of the claims department, as well as insurance adjusters, attorneys and brokers, to ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.</p> <ul> <li>Review, research and investigate varied and complex insurance claims to determine their validity. </li><li>Communicate with insurance adjusters, attorneys, and other parties involved in the claims process. </li><li>Analyze complex claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement. </li><li>Ensure that claims are handled in compliance with company policies and procedures. </li><li>Work with other members of the claims department to manage claim inventory and ensure timely processing. </li><li>Provide recommendations for claims settlement based on policy provisions. </li><li>Respond to customer inquiries regarding claims. </li><li>May provide assistance or training to new or junior analysts. </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. </li><li>Minimum 4 years experience, preferably 5 - 7 years of experience working in the insurance industry and/or a related field. </li><li>Experience in Casualty Claims (Worker's Compensation, Auto Liability, General Liability, and Property Damage) is required.
