<p>Location: Oak Ridge, TN</p> <p>Job Title: NMC&A Training Analyst</p> <p>Career Level From: Specialist</p> <p>Career Level To:</p> <p>Organization: Nuclear Matls Cntrl & Account (50003143)</p> <p>Job Specialty: NMC&A</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>The Nuclear Material Control & Accountability (NMC&A) department is looking for a highly organized individual for the NMC&A Training Analyst position which serves as a Point of Contact for the NMC&A Training program. The work will be accomplished by working with multiple internal and external teams on NMC&A activities and documentation requirements.</p> <p>SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Maintain the NMC&A training in accordance with DOE orders and site procedures. </li><li>Design, develop, and manage lesson plans for training requirements. </li><li>Prepare classroom materials and examinations for training courses. </li><li>Performs needs assessments/analyses to identify training requirements per orders and regulations, make recommendations, and initiate improvements in current training modules and related classes. </li><li>Perform investigations of NMC&A issues related to training. </li><li>Develop and maintain OJT guides/checklists with assistance from supervisors. </li><li>Maintain documentation of plant training associated with procedure revisions. </li><li>Conduct annual review and subsequent revisions to formal Job Analysis in response to DOE directives. </li><li>Represent NMC&A at Y-12 and external training working group meetings and report on matters dealing with training qualifications. </li><li>Assist in organizational compliance throughout NMC&A by properly documenting and maintaining work requirements in the form of technical procedures, administrative procedures, and the MC&A Plan. </li><li>Ensures procedures are written to a level of detail consistent with the qualifications and training of the expected user. </li></ul> <p>What You Can Expect</p> <ul> <li>Meaningful work and unique opportunities to support missions vital to national and global security </li><li>Top-notch, dedicated colleagues </li><li>Generous pay and benefits with a stable organization </li><li>Career advancement and professional development programs </li><li>Work-life balance fostered through flexible work options and wellness initiatives </li></ul> <p>Minimum Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with four or more years of relevant experience </li><li>OR Master's degree with three or more years of relevant experience </li><li>OR Twelve or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Requirements</p> <p>Knowledge of Y-12 specific training experience preferred.</p> <p>Specialized Knowledge and/or Training:</p> <p>Requires the ability to manage numerous complex tasks simultaneously. A broad knowledge of Y-12 processes and evidence of communication experience across multiple organizations is desired. Ability to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multi-task. Proficiency with Microsoft software applications, including Windows, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.</p> <p>Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.</p> <p>This position may require entry into the Material Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (10 C.F.R. Part 712), which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.</p> <p>This position may be categorized as a "designated position" identified by 10 C.F.R. Part 709, requiring successful completion of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation that may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.</p> <p>CNS is a drug-free workplace.
