<p>Job Description</p> <p>Ensure policies, procedures, and all activities are carried out to support BRS goals and objectives at the Caster on their respective crew assignments.</p> <p>Digital assessment test is required to be completed within 14 days of submitting application.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Repair complex electrical equipment, including automated machines, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems, VFD drives. </li><li>Install electrical equipment with minimal instruction after general assignment. </li><li>Diagnose problems, replace or repair defective equipment. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic problems. </li><li>Work with Production to help develop and maintain a Highly Productive Team. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Has strong working knowledge of 480 volt 3-phase electrical distribution systems </li><li>Has PLC programing experience in Siemens and or Allen Bradley </li><li>Quality and Detail oriented </li><li>Strong Technical Analytical/ Problem solving skills </li><li>Good insight into team dynamics and a positive team player </li><li>Good verbal communication skills; self-motivated </li><li>Must be willing to put in extra hours when needed </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:</p> <p>Environment is typical for a steel mill production area, with extreme temperatures, high noise levels, and dusty/greasy areas. Scheduled work hours are 4 on, 4 off, rotating shift work, which includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibility:</p> <p>This position does not supervise others</p>
