<p>Job Description</p> <p>Infosys is seeking a Senior AS400 Developer with RPG, CLI and DB2 experience. The position will primarily be responsible for providing solutions on the Builder Parts - Service systems / processes as per customer's requirements. The selected candidate be able to Lead requirements elicitation, Create of Application Architecture Document (AAD), Create of Design Artifacts, Review team deliverables, Deliver High quality codes, Support Deployment and Post deployment related activities, Support Transition activities, Interface with internal team and key stakeholders and Analyze and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables at each stage of SDLC within the defined guidelines, policies and Norms.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding. </li><li>Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. </li><li>At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. </li><li>At least 4 years of extensive experience with AS/400 technology, including strong proficiency in RPGLE and CLLE. </li><li>At least 3 years of experience specifically within the Retail domain, demonstrating a deep understanding of retail business processes and systems. </li><li>Strong knowledge in React. </li><li>Experience in software development life cycle including agile. Participates in implementations of new systems or modifications to existing systems to meet Information Systems and client business requirements. </li><li>All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualification:</p> <ul> <li>Strong sense of code with ability to review, rework and deliver top class code to customer. </li><li>Strong SQL knowledge - PostGre SQL preferred. If not, any other SQL DB is also OK. Must be able to look at complex queries (with multiple joins) and understand and debug if needed. </li><li>Exposure to modern integration patterns with AS/400, Island Pacific (IP) Package experience Agile methodologies </li><li>Experienced in handling support work for Point-of-Sale systems. </li><li>Ability to work in a team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment. </li><li>Strong Analytical skills. </li><li>Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. </li></ul> <p>The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.</p>
