As an industry leader we design, test and manufacture the highest performing, self-lubricating, roller element, metal to metal and miniature bearings in the industry.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Perform non-destructive testing activities to ensure that product meets customer requirements.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work from drawings, specifications, work orders and general instructions, will perform non-destructive test inspections on a variety of aerospace parts. Check materials for consistency, contamination and sensitivity. </li><li>Set up and calibrate equipment and conduct tests. Monitor equipment and related gages. Interpret, evaluate and document results in accordance with written procedures and customer specifications. </li><li>Record inspection reports, issue rejection documentation and maintain records, data, logs, etc. </li><li>Interpret and evaluate defective material. </li><li>Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to supervisor. </li><li>Make recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contribute to 5S program in work area. </li><li>Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to positive teamwork environment. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in training/learning other positions. Accomplish related results as needed. </li></ul> <p>Requirement/Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education:</p> </li><li> <p>High School degree or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Level II Certifications in MPI and FPI</p> </li><li> <p>Experience:</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment</p> </li><li> <p>Skills:</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to use conventional inspection devises, tools and instruments</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and interpret blueprints containing basic geometric tolerances</p> </li><li> <p>Solid analytical mind set with strong attention to detail and the ability to methodically work through problems delivering results.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills including verbal, and written.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a team and provide strong customer support to both external and internal customers (inspectors).</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and write documentation.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Lifting up to 40 pounds </li><li>Frequent walking and standing </li><li>Occasional sitting </li><li>Frequent mental and visual attention </li></ul>
