<p>The Data Analytics Lead will play an instrumental role in designing and implementing analytics solutions, driving technical decisions, and shaping the future of our data-driven initiatives. Beyond leading technical directions, this position will be responsible for the comprehensive optimization, development, and maintenance of our Analytics ecosystem.</p> <p>This includes evaluating our current data ecosystem to ensure adherence to industry best practices, making strategic recommendations for enhancements, and implementing necessary configuration changes. The person in this position has a formal role mentoring team members and sharing their knowledge and expertise to uplift the team's capabilities as part of the build process.</p> <ul> <li>Analyzes system and integration requirements by understanding business needs, troubleshooting, determining root cause, and lead the?design, modification and changes to system specifications. </li><li>Leads the development, testing, and documentation activities according to specifications, standards and system requirements in order to accomplish ideal business results and end to end connectivity of data and systems. </li><li>Lead in the design of?software system testing and validation procedures including unit testing, scenario testing and end to end testing </li><li>Lead others to implement best practices on integrated solutions for complex problems enabling defined business process </li><li>Identify appropriate risks associated with system changes and?lead?in?ensuring proper scheduling, documentation, and?implementation in accordance?with defined business processes. </li><li>Manages and monitors systems for the organization and ensures alignment with company guidelines and SOPs. </li><li>Responds to system failures and performance events by taking appropriate measures to reduce system downtime and eliminate recurrence of problems with continuous improvement mindset. </li><li>Collaborate with others by working across boundaries to?ensure best practices solutions are developed.? Partner with suppliers and technology?providers on innovative solves for complex business issues. </li><li>Conduct?proactive ongoing and periodic scans of?emerging?technologies. </li><li>Mentor other team members in professional development. </li><li>7+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with a strong emphasis on leading technical projects. </li><li>5+ years of experience working with Power BI or other Data Visualization / Reporting Tools in an administrative capacity. </li><li>Expertise in Apache Spark, Data Warehousing technologies, Delta Lake House, and proficient in Azure data services (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2, Azure Event Grid). </li><li>Advanced software development experience using Agile and CI/CD </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other relevant degree or?ten?plus?years of work experience. </li><li>Must be self-motivated, a fast learner, and a strong problem solver who can manage multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail. </li><li>Curious and detailed individual that focuses on optimization and continuous improvement. </li><li>Ability to identify, diagnosis, and troubleshoot system issues and determine root causes with speed and efficiency. </li><li>Proven examples and experiences of mentoring and coaching others with adaptability to be able to work independently or in a team environment. </li><li>Ability to work with, communicate effectively with and influence all levels of the organization. </li><li>Ability to travel as needed. </li></ul> <p>Preferred? Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Extensive knowledge?of MS Azure Stack, specifically Azure Data Lake Gen 2, Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure Data Factory </li><li>Working experience with API connectivity?as well as?R and/or Python for statistical modeling </li><li>Apache Spark (Databricks is a plus), Delta Lakehouse, Data Lakehouse, MPP Data Warehouses </li><li>Microsoft Fabric & Power BI (including tenant administration) </li></ul>
