This position supports our full-day preschool program aligned with the Creative Curriculum and funded through New Jersey's Preschool Expansion Aid (PEA). The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing the social, emotional, and academic growth of young learners</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid New Jersey Preschool through Grade 3 (P-3) or Teacher of Preschool certificate (CE, CEAS, or Standard) </li><li>Criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance </li><li>Current Mantoux (tuberculin) test in accordance with NJDOE regulations </li><li>Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practice </li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and school staff </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Creative Curriculum </li><li>Experience in inclusive or PEA-funded preschool classrooms </li><li>Familiarity with NJ Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards and GOLD assessment </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned to the Creative Curriculum </li><li>Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment </li><li>Partner with paraprofessionals and specialists to support student needs </li><li>Monitor student progress and complete required assessments </li><li>Maintain open communication with families and participate in school events </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer:</p> <p>Palmyra School District is an equal opportunity employer.
