<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Melting Department is responsible for supporting daily production operations by safely operating melting equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient workflow.</p> <p>Scope of Responsibilities:</p> <p>This role includes performing machine start-up and shutdown procedures, completing accurate production and downtime reporting, and following all safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and the Stop-Call-Wait process.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Achieving daily production targets and ensuring part quality meets customer requirements </li><li>Demonstrates all essential duties & responsibilities in Melting </li><li>Start-up and shutdown of melting machines </li><li>Complete accurate production and downtime reports with correct codes, reject quantity and descriptions </li><li>Follow safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and the Stop-Call-Wait process </li><li>Maintain good housekeeping </li></ul> <p>Preferred Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Flexibility to work in a hot environment </li><li>Ability and willingness to work any shift as needed </li><li>Willingness to work overtime - at times with short notice </li><li>Forklift experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Qualified candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work and learn in a team-oriented environment.</p>
