<p>DEVELOPMENTAL SPECIALIST - FULL TIME</p> <p>Pay $18.00 / HOUR</p> <p>($18.50 after one year.)</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAY, NO NIGHTS!!</p> <p>Location: 900 Riggenbach Road, Fall River</p> <p>People, Incorporated is a human service Agency serving the Southcoast community, including the Greater Fall River, New Bedford, and Taunton areas. Let People, Incorporated be Your Path to Opportunity!</p> <p>Our Day Habilitation program is looking for an employee to serves as an interdisciplinary team member responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising services and assumes primary responsibility for each member on an assigned caseload to coordinate the implementation of the program Service Plan and maintain each members record.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Recommend service plan goals, assist in completing annual severity profiles, and service needs assessments, as well as review new potential program individuals. (not applicable for relief employees) </li><li>Complete daily data sheets, including documentation for behavior services. </li><li>Implement service plan goals, including therapeutic goals. </li><li>Inform the supervisor or nursing staff of any unusual behavior and signs of illness or injury. </li><li>Ensure all schedules are followed and individuals are engaged in activities. </li><li>Ensure all protocols are followed, including, but not limited to, toileting, dining, dietary, Pica (persistent ingestion of nonnutritive substances), behavior guidelines, seizure, and safety. </li><li>Complete daily communication logs. </li><li>Complete monthly progress reports of service plan goals. (or as requested for relief staff) </li><li>Maintain all program required trainings. </li><li>Attend interdisciplinary team meetings as needed to participate in curriculum design. (or as requested for relief staff) </li><li>Implement curriculum in accordance with individual service plans. </li><li>Ensure positive behavior supports are implemented for all individuals. </li><li>Maintain an expertise in the day habilitation field through attendance at meetings, in-service training, continuing education, or other appropriate educational programs. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, division management team member, or division director, including, but not limited to, working weekends and/or holidays. </li><li>Participate in all staff meetings and required training sessions, including in-service training, as scheduled. </li><li>Maintain all program and Agency required trainings. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATION:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED is required.
