<p>The VP Human Resources develops and oversees the strategic direction for the LCS regional human resources team. Directs and manages the delivery of human resources functions for LCS-managed communities and LCS employees across the Operations division. This includes providing management consultation regarding Human Resources issues and activities to the EVPs/SVPs of the Operations division.</p> <p>The Role:</p> <ul> <li>Works closely with senior management within Operations division to ensure HR plans and support align with operational strategic objectives. </li><li>Works closely with LCS HRLT to ensure alignment and effective implementation of key organizational HR initiatives. </li><li>Provides HR direction with respect to community onboardings, transitions, and disengagements. </li><li>Works with other departments within LCS to ensure smooth transitions from an HR perspective (e.g., works closely with teams including IT, Payroll, Finance). </li><li>Reviews processes through lens of continuous improvement to implement appropriate enhancements. </li><li>Works closely with LCS's business development/sales, and investment teams to ensure HR is represented accurately and appropriately and actively reviews management agreements and has input in terms of contract negotiations that may involve employment entities, payroll, and any other HR/Payroll functions that will be provided by LCS. </li><li>Provides oversight, support, and direction on all human resources matters for all LCS-managed communities. </li><li>Keeps abreast of all legal trends and issues affecting the human resources function and participates in developing or changing policies as needed. Reviews, edits and implements changes to community employee handbooks and other HR related documentation provided to communities. </li><li>Ensures a consistent application of human resources policies, procedures and practices across all LCS managed communities. </li><li>In collaboration with the Regional HR team, provides strategic leadership, consultation and direction to Sr. DOM and DOMs regarding human resources matters, including the performance management, succession planning, , talent development, compensation, recruitment, and employee relations. </li><li>In collaboration with the Regional HR team and LCS Risk Management, provides assistance to LCS-managed communities on workers' compensation, employment charges, and lawsuits. </li><li>In collaboration with the Regional HR team and Talent Acquisition Business Partner team provides leadership in developing holistic talent strategies for LCS managed communities. </li><li>Oversees the HR audit process at LCS-managed communities. </li><li>In collaboration with the Sr. Director of Talent Development, develops and implements a talent strategy for the continued development of community employees and leaders at each stage of the employment lifecycle. </li></ul> <p>Experience and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations or related field. </li><li>10+ years' human resources management experience in a variety of disciplines. </li><li>Senior living industry experience is strongly preferred. </li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. </li><li>Ability to effectively represent the organization to outside stakeholders. </li><li>Excellent strategic agility and the ability to establish and implement effective strategies across and organization. </li><li>Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills. </li><li>Well-developed strategic planning skills. </li></ul> <p>Why LCS?</p> <p>Industry leader.
