<p>Description</p> <p>The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>The Irrigation Laborer provides various maintenance activities to the assigned site. </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Pre-fabricates sub-assemblies based on samples provided by the foreman </li><li>Assist in trenching and digging operators as needed </li><li>Cut and glue lateral line pipe; fit, cut, and assemble drip tubing and fittings </li><li>Perform hand backfilling </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 1 year experience working with commercial irrigation systems </li><li>Ability to work and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong work ethic </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish) a plus </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands/Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to load/unload trailer (up to 50 lbs.) </li><li>Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic </li><li>Work near or about natural bodies of water </li><li>Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required) </li><li>Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit </li><li>Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time </li></ul> <p>BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.</p> <p>This job description is subject to change at any time.</p> <p>BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
