<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SUMMARY DESCRIPTION</p> <p>This position supports the centralized processing of vehicle titles that includes the review, correction, and submission of required documentation to perfect liens in a timely and accurate manner, tracking the receipt of perfected & outstanding titles, the input of information into the core system, along with assisting both staff and members with any and all title questions to assure a high level of member satisfaction while adhering to PCCU's policies.</p> <p>CORE COMPETENCIES</p> <ul> <li>Verify completed documentation including title application, loan agreement, fees, and sales tax for the transfer of ownership and/or lienholder and submit to the motor vehicle office of the borrower(s) residence </li><li>Submit UCC data to state agencies as needed for non-titled collateral </li><li>Ensure that lien interest for titled collateral is perfected within regulatory guidelines including real estate Deeds of Trust. </li><li>Monitor and promptly respond to requests for assistance with problem resolution or research specifics to the receipt of overdue title from a third party </li><li>Ability to review, process and close all indirect and direct consumer loans utilizing remote closing capabilities when possible. </li><li>Meet or exceed loan, service and quality goals. </li><li>Maintain file maintenance, history, account notes by inputting information into the loan core system including scanning of title documents into the optical storage system </li><li>Research and maintain current reports for missing and outstanding titles continuously tracking until receipt of the perfected title </li><li>Handle all requests for lien transfers out of state, including researching county requirements, reviewing loan record for excessive delinquency or force placed insurance, and obtaining approval for the transfer in accordance with procedures. </li><li>Promptly respond to inquiries by staff or members regarding the requirements and preparation of documents for both paper and electronic perfection of a lien </li><li>Provide suggestions for improved service, efficiency, policy enhancement, or recommended changes </li><li>Maintain current knowledge of DMV rules and regulations </li><li>Maintain an adequate supply of necessary forms for vehicle titling, ex: Secured Bill of Sale and Secured Power of Attorney </li><li>Keep management informed of area activities and any significant problems </li><li>Participate as a team member to provide quality, professional work. </li><li>Assist with other department functions as needed. </li><li>Perform other functions within the Lending department as needed as required by management. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY</p> <ul> <li>Knowledgeable with all forms of collateral and loan documentation, including but not limited to: vehicle titles, security agreements, State forms, odometer statements, UCCs, MSOs, power of attorneys, tax receipts, etc. </li><li>Knowledge of basic principles of lending </li><li>Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge, required </li><li>Clear written and verbal communication while maintaining a top-notch, courteous, and professional disposition towards members and co-workers </li><li>Ability to remain organized and multi-task and have good time management in a fast paced, high-volume environment </li><li>Ability to work with minimum supervision, meet deadlines, resolve problems and deal effectively with members, co-workers, and the general public. </li><li>Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion </li><li>Exhibit sound judgment and common sense </li><li>Must present a professional appearance and demeanor </li><li>Must have manual dexterity to input data via keyboard </li><li>Must have visual ability to interpret data from CRT screen and written documents. </li><li>Schedule: In office attendance required, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Previous experience in loan processing or title work is a plus. At least one year but no less than two years of similar or related experience required, preferably within a financial institution or office setting.</p> <p>COMPENSATION & BENEFITS</p> <p>Starting hourly rate - $25.00+ depending on experience</p> <p>Being a part of Partner Colorado CU has its benefits.
