<p>As a Carpenter, a typical day might include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting with the buildout and installation of retail fixtures, display cases, counters, wall panels, and other custom carpentry elements </li><li>Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans </li><li>Working closely with the project management and design teams to bring brand vision and layout plans to life </li><li>Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment </li><li>Installing millwork, trim, shelving, and flooring elements in accordance with design specifications </li><li>Helping maintain clean, organized, and safe work sites during all phases of the buildout </li><li>Traveling to various retail locations as needed to complete projects on-site </li><li>Collaborating with contractors and vendors when necessary to complete construction phases on schedule </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of carpentry experience in retail, commercial, or high-end residential environments is preferred </li><li>Willingness to travel to job sites and work flexible hours as needed </li><li>Ability to read construction documents and follow technical specifications </li><li>Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines </li><li>Strong understanding of framing, finish carpentry, and cabinetry installation </li><li>Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in retail buildouts </li><li>Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours</p> <p>The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
