To do so, we must continue shaping the future of communications by applying the best minds to the challenges our customers will continually face.</p> <p>We currently seek a college student enrolled in a technical engineering course of study who is interested in a summer internship opportunity. Our Linear Engineering department is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern at our facility located in Avon, CT.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The selected candidates will work under the guidance of senior engineers and the product development team on various projects related to product development.</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the development and testing of new products: Work closely with the product development team to support the creation, prototyping, and testing of innovative products. This includes hands-on involvement in the development stage of the product lifecycle. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work alongside engineering and design teams to ensure seamless integration of new products. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance product functionality and user experience. </li><li>Support documentation and reporting: Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, user manuals, and progress reports. Ensure that all product development activities are well-documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders. </li><li>Perform other related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>At the end of the internship, the candidate will prepare a presentation that summarizes the work they were involved in during the program.</p> <p>Education Requirements</p> <p>Candidate must be enrolled full-time in a college or university with a mechanical or related engineering course of study. The ideal candidate will be in their junior or senior year of school.</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>This is an entry-level internship position.
