We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Associate to join Kaiser Aluminum in Franklin Tennessee at our corporate office! This is an onsite position.</p> <p>You will support cash application, payment reconciliation, and collections.</p> <p>What you will bring to the role:</p> <ul> <li>Process daily bank files into Oracle and post customer payments in the form of wires, ACH, and checks </li><li>Accurately apply all payments per customer remittance details; communicate with customers on missing remittances and discrepancies </li><li>Perform collection activities on delinquent customer accounts, including email and phone call follow-ups </li><li>Reconcile open items on account by working with customers, sales team, and plants to resolve any discrepancies </li><li>Maintain and update customer master profiles in Oracle, and assist in collecting necessary documentation for new customer set-up </li><li>Prepare AR reports and assist with month-end close activities </li><li>Assist in meeting deadlines for time sensitive audit requests </li></ul> <p>What you will bring to the role:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree required or BA/BS with an emphasis in Accounting/Finance preferred. </li><li>Recent graduates with Accounting/Finance BA/BS are encouraged to apply or individuals with the same education and experience in a medium to large manufacturing company. </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. </li><li>Highly detail-oriented and organized. </li><li>Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees. </li><li>Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to work on assigned roles independently and accurately </li><li>Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize items and projects </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Tools (Excel, Outlook) and preferably Oracle </li><li>Manages time well and completes expected daily work and projects in a timely manner </li><li>Team oriented and able to work well with various groups within the organization </li><li>Motivated and willing to take on new tasks as assigned </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
