<p>Overview</p> <p>Responsible for maintaining sufficient resources and troubleshooting to ensure ongoing business operations are uninterrupted due to facilities, infrastructure, environmental and equipment issues. Responsible for maintaining efforts related to new facilities, new equipment and new infrastructure development.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Maintains the execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Correctiv Maintenance (CM) activities. Ensures the accuracy of system information and the adherence to scheduled maintenance activities. Assures personal subordinate compliance to QS034 Facilities/Equipment Maintenance. Approves introduction or modification to PM activities. Manages external maintenance suppliers, contracts, scheduling of maintenance activities, and assesses adequacy of work.</p> <ul> <li>Ensure new or modified asset information is properly transferred into Maintenance and Calibration systems• Define and create technical specifications for a wide variety of projects• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, specifications and sketches and develop/modify CAD drawing for facility or systems• Write and modify facility/system documents and procedures• Lead/manage in planning, documenting, commissioning, and start-up of new and modified facilities and system installs/upgrades• Translate project plans into coherent, credible, realistic project schedules and manage the project• Possess the ability to manage multiple complex projects with a high level of detail and accuracy• Understand complex systems and be able to identify potential areas of improvement </li><li>Ability to work hands on with critical equipment/systems• PLC interface and configuration/trouble shooting of such equipment </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Must have a BS in engineering and/or related field: or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background. 2 years of work experience related to equipment/facilities maintenance repair. Less experience may be required depending on the level of formal education.</p> <p>Understanding of mechanical, fluid, and electrical systems.</p> <ul> <li>Good understanding of GMP, CFR 820 and ISO regulations• Proficient in or good working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to travel approximately 20% as necessary to other facilities• Must be able to perform reasonable job functions requiring periods of standing, walking, climbing, balancing, lifting up to 50lbs, as well as those requiring manual dexterity, effective listening and communication• Occasionally required to sit </li><li>Occasionally lifts and/or moves more than 100 pounds• Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception </li></ul>
