<p>Position Status: Full-Time & Part-Time</p> <p>Upstate Community Medical, PC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Nurse- Midwife (CNM) or Certified Midwife (CM) to join our growing OBG Hospitalist team. Our OBG Hospitalist team, comprised of physicians and CNM's, is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care, and are looking for a CNM/CM who is passionate about supporting women's health and delivering exceptional care in the hospital setting at Upstate Community Hospital.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide comprehensive obstetrical care for patients in the hospital setting, including labor and delivery and postpartum. </li><li>Collaborate with OBG physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. </li><li>Attend deliveries, including vaginal births and cesarean sections as a first assistant, as needed. </li><li>Conduct routine and emergency assessments, including physical exams, diagnostic tests, and patient history. </li><li>Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. </li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with UCM and UUH policies and procedures. </li><li>Engage in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with best practices in obstetrical care. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Certification as a Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Midwife (CM) by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). </li><li>Valid NYS RN and CNM license for CNMs or a CM license </li><li>Minimum of 2-3 years of experience preferred in a hospital setting, with a focus on labor and delivery. </li><li>Strong clinical skills </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. </li><li>Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with EPIC. </li><li>Additional certifications or training in fetal monitoring and cesarean first assist is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Salary </li><li>401(k) with employer match and no vesting period </li><li>Health Insurance </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Annual CME Allowance </li><li>Malpractice </li><li>NYS License & DEA reimbursement </li></ul>
