To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Drug and Alcohol Coordinator. The Drug and Alcohol Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing programs per Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines. The successful candidate will have previous administrative experience in a busy office environment, have excellent communication skills, and advanced ability with Microsoft Office Suite. This position reports to the Manager, Human Resources.</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate and monitor Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing programs per FAA guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Review and prepare drug and alcohol records</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in preparation for FAA audits</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure accurate database entry of all new hire employees</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure accuracy of drug and alcohol documentation</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications and Competencies:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment</p> </li><li> <p>Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and meeting specified deadlines</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced ability with Microsoft Office Suite</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent writing and speaking skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent attendance record</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current Piedmont employee with a minimum of six months of service </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Some travel is required</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds </li></ul> <p>The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and are not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required for this position. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.</p> <p>Benefit package includes paid training, holiday pay, 401(k), vacation, and family travel on the American Airlines network.
