<p>The Position</p> <p>Manufactured Housing Inspectors are responsible for the Statewide inspection of manufactured homes, commercial coaches, mobile homes, mobile home parks and other manufactured buildings upon installation; the review of construction plans and specifications for manufactured buildings; the inspection and certification of the facilities, production and quality control processes of manufactured building manufacturers; the enforcement of code and regulatory compliance for projects involving manufactured structures; and the investigation of complaints against manufactured housing dealers, manufacturers, servicepersons and mobile home parks.</p> <p>Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.</p> <p>This position is a Manufactured Housing Inspector 1 for the Department of Business and Industry, Housing Division, located in the Carson City area. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting and coordinating inspection-related activities for manufactured structures regulated by the Housing Division. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, maintaining accurate records, and providing assistance to the public, licensees, and government agencies.
