<p>UPMC WPH Altoona Crisis Services is Blair County's premiere crisis program.? With expansion program in mobile and other departments, as well as a brand-new Consumer milieu we are looking for highly skilled caring professionals to join our team.</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in consumer and clinical services under the Crisis Program Coordinator. </li><li>Respond to mobile crisis calls in Blair County. </li><li>Answer questions, obtain clinical information, schedule evaluations, and document duties. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage a caseload for the shift. </li><li>Obtain clinical information for medical records. </li><li>Provide supportive counseling to promote stability. </li><li>Work independently in crisis settings. </li><li>Support consumers and arrange referral services. </li><li>Collaborate with Clin II for case consultations. </li><li>Complete documentation and paperwork. </li><li>Conduct face-to-face crisis assessments. </li><li>Respond to telephone calls from consumers and community supports. </li><li>Manage crisis situations effectively. </li><li>Complete case reviews. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work with two (2) years of clinical experience required </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required </li></ul> <p>Other fields of study may be considered with coursework of at least 12 credits in human services and/or relevant mental health experience</p> <ul> <li>Includes phone triaging, as well as an in-depth knowledge and proven skill at doing psychiatric assessments </li><li>Experience in mental health crisis intervention, case management, or in-home therapy preferred </li><li>Excellent, recovery-oriented interpersonal relations </li><li>Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and to assume on call responsibilities </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <p>CCM training is required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter</p> <ul> <li>Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) </li><li>Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC) </li><li>Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting </li><li>Act 33 with renewal </li><li>Act 34 with renewal </li><li>Act 73 FBI Clearance </li><li>OAPSA </li></ul> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p>
