<p>Position Summary</p> <p>A high-volume, fast-paced immigration law firm is seeking a knowledgeable Immigration Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law to join its Rockville, MD office. This position is available on a full-time or contract basis, depending on the candidate's availability and background. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration process.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and file a variety of immigration petitions and applications, including: </li><li>Family-based and employment-based petitions </li><li>Adjustment of Status o Naturalization/Citizenship </li><li>NACARA, TPS, Asylum, and Waivers </li><li>Immigrant and non-immigrant visas </li><li>PERM, EB-5, H-1B </li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations </li><li>Communicate effectively with clients to gather documentation and provide updates </li><li>Prepare for and represent clients in interviews or appointments before: </li><li>USCIS </li><li>ICE </li><li>CBP </li><li>Immigration Courts (non-litigation appearances only) </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage case deadlines </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) a plus, but not require </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>J.D. from an accredited law school </li><li>Bar license in Virginia or Maryland (active and in good standing) </li><li>Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in immigration law </li><li>Technologically proficient; experience with immigration law platforms and case management systems </li></ul>
