The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.</p> <p>Job Overview</p> <p>The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, supporting team members while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and a safe working environment. This role helps guide daily cleaning operations in alignment with Renaissance brand standards, company policies, and all applicable safety and hygiene regulations.</p> <p>You will help ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces remain clean, organized, and ready to deliver an exceptional stay experience.</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing</p> <p>Team Leadership & Staff Support</p> <p>Assist with hiring, training, and supervising housekeeping associates, including room attendants and housepersons</p> <p>Help develop work schedules and assign daily tasks to ensure efficient coverage and productivity</p> <p>Provide ongoing coaching and training on cleaning standards, guest service expectations, and safety procedures</p> <p>Offer constructive feedback and support team development and performance improvement</p> <p>Address employee concerns professionally and help foster a positive team environment</p> <p>Quality Assurance & Operational Excellence</p> <p>Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with Renaissance cleanliness and presentation standards</p> <p>Identify maintenance or repair needs and coordinate timely follow-up with engineering</p> <p>Monitor proper use of supplies and equipment to maintain efficiency and cost control</p> <p>Respond promptly to guest concerns related to housekeeping and ensure service recovery when needed</p> <p>Enforce safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and cleaning chemicals</p> <p>Maintain compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations</p> <p>Communication & Collaboration</p> <p>Partner closely with front desk, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure room readiness and smooth operations</p> <p>Provide updates to hotel management regarding daily operations, challenges, and opportunities for improvement</p> <p>What You Bring to the Team</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality, business, or related education preferred</p> <p>Previous housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience strongly preferred</p> <p>Strong knowledge of housekeeping practices, cleaning equipment, and safety standards</p> <p>Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills</p> <p>Comfort using computers, phones, and basic office systems</p> <p>A hands-on leadership style and commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences</p> <p>Working Conditions & Physical Effort</p> <p>This role involves active, physical work including extended standing and walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in an indoor hotel environment and may include exposure to cleaning chemicals, equipment noise, varying temperatures, and other operational conditions.
