The group's engagements principally include M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments. As a dedicated member of our transaction team, you will be responsible for supporting these assignments, with the following responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare, analyze and explain financial information of a given company and related companies within the respective industry;</p> </li><li> <p>Perform valuations of companies using traditional valuation methodologies;</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare confidential offering memorandums, management presentations, buyers lists, marketing pitches, and assist in the marketing and planning of engagements</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>1-2 years of investment banking experience required</p> </li><li> <p>A solid understanding of the sell-side M&A process, along with proven experience in successfully closing deals</p> </li><li> <p>Fundamental understanding of financial valuation methodologies and applications</p> </li><li> <p>Prior coursework in accounting and finance required</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced financial modeling and analytical abilities; Strong LBO and DCF modeling skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced knowledge of Excel</p> </li><li> <p>Independent thinker and resourceful problem solver</p> </li><li> <p>Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to multitask</p> </li><li> <p>Motivated and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <p>Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation.
