<p>We are looking for a summer accounting intern who will work out of our Tulsa, OK office Tuesday - Thursday and remotely on Monday's and Friday's. Successful candidates will be enrolled in an accredited college, technical school, or university and will have completed their junior year by this summer.</p> <p>The Accounting Intern focus will mainly be in our Accounting Department and will have an opportunity to be directly involved in numerous projects.</p> <p>Activities include:</p> <ul> <li>Validating policies and procedures for tasks and controls within the department </li><li>Records maintenance </li><li>adding meta data to existing documents </li><li>scanning, organizing, and validating records according to our retention policy </li><li>Accounts payable </li><li>Vendor qualification - banking validation </li><li>Power Accounting/Reconciliation with Purchase Card </li><li>Warehouse inventory reconciliations </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>The successful intern will have:</p> <ul> <li>completed their junior year by this summer (degree should be in Accounting) </li><li>be self-motivated </li><li>high level of verbal and written communication skills </li><li>focus on time and resource management </li><li>have solid computer and software skills </li><li>must have own housing accommodation in the Tulsa area </li><li>must have WIFI access for remote work </li><li>must have own housing allocation in the Tulsa or surrounding area </li></ul>
