<p>? Ability to teach all core academic subjects (English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) in the kindergarten grade level. ? Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and district initiatives. ? Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities. ? Assess student progress through formal and informal measures, using data to inform instructional decisions. ? Maintain accurate records of student performance, behavior, and growth. ? Collaborate effectively with grade-level colleagues and specialists to support student learning. ? Communicate regularly with families about student progress through conferences, reports, and ongoing correspondence. ? Manage classroom behavior using positive behavioral supports. ? Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional learning communities, and ongoing professional development. ? Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and achievement.</p> <p>? Support school-wide initiatives and contribute to the positive school culture at Taft Early Learning Center. ? Prepare students for success in upper elementary grades through rigorous, standards-based instruction. Additional Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or related field required; Master's degree preferred. ? Valid Massachusetts DESE licensure in Elementary Education (1-6) required. ? Strong classroom management and organizational skills with experience in elementary grades. ? Experience with third grade curriculum, developmental learning stages, and differentiated instruction preferred. ? Proficiency in using educational technology for instruction and student engagement. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families. ? Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. ? Knowledge of current best practices in elementary education. ? Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for all students. ? Dedication to ongoing professional growth and development. ? Experience with data-driven instruction and assessment practices preferred. Physical Requirements (Must be able to): ? Assist students as needed, which may involve lifting up to 25 pounds. ? Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the school day. ? Bend, twist, reach, and occasionally sit on the floor during instruction. ? Respond quickly to students' needs and emergency situations. ? Use technology tools required for instruction and classroom management.</p>
