This strategic leadership role focuses on maintaining and improving operational excellence while meeting key performance indicators. You will serve as a critical operational leader responsible for coordinating warehouse activities that support the company's manufacturing and distribution objectives.</p> <p>Job responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze forecasts and coordinate schedules to ensure timely delivery requirements while overseeing daily warehouse operations including cycle counting and intercompany shipments </li><li>Implement and maintain policies for receipt, distribution, and inventory management while supporting supply chain strategy through appropriate inventory levels </li><li>Oversee cycle count management, inventory reconciliation, and ensure compliance with all material handling, storage, and distribution regulations </li><li>Ensure accurate and timely distribution of parts to assembly teams while managing intercompany and direct shipments to meet production schedules </li><li>Engage with manufacturing, purchasing, and assembly teams to proactively identify and eliminate trending issues that could impact customer satisfaction </li><li>Analyze current processes for internal and external customer support and develop improvement plans to address operational needs </li><li>Support continuous improvement culture through lean principles while providing development and coaching to team members </li><li>Perform all personnel management functions including hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions while creating and maintaining a safe work environment </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>3+ Years of experience in shipping, receiving and inventory </li><li>3+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse setting </li><li>Exceptional organization skills </li></ul> <p>#LI- MG2</p> <p>At Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
