In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance of secure, mission-critical web and software applications and infrastructure. As part of a collaborative and innovative team, you will contribute directly to the delivery and operations of custom enterprise applications and services that enable CENTCOM's successful mission execution.</p> <p>Description of Duties</p> <ul> <li>Design and develop robust, high-performance web-based applications and services that transform user requirements into effective solutions. </li><li>Plan, develop, and maintain web infrastructure, applications, APIs, and web services to support critical command and control systems. </li><li>Analyze code, conduct reviews, and work closely with subject matter experts to deliver technically sound and secure solutions. </li><li>Determine user and system requirements, define programming techniques, and create operating instructions and end-user guides. </li><li>Ensure all solutions are designed and implemented in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) security standards and compliance requirements. </li><li>Develop software solutions utilizing ASP.NET, C#, and JavaScript, emphasizing adherence to security and performance objectives. </li><li>Troubleshoot application-related and integration issues, including Active Directory authentication integration with IIS servers. </li><li>Support CI/CD pipelines for the seamless development and deployment of applications, including integration with cloud-based services for optimized delivery. </li><li>Create, optimize, and troubleshoot stored procedures in SQL Server and Azure SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency. </li><li>Perform scheduled administration and maintenance of IIS web servers, ensuring system reliability and compliance with security standards. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. An equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience may be substituted. </li><li>At least 5 years of practical experience as a web developer, cloud developer, or software engineer, demonstrating progressive responsibility in application design and delivery. </li><li>Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#.NET, and JavaScript for web application and web service development. </li><li>Strong experience in SQL Server development, stored procedures, and T-SQL. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to leverage MVC, JSON, JQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 for modern web development. </li><li>Competence in developing applications compatible with security standards and compliant with DoD 8570 (CompTIA certification required). </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate and document technical requirements. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience developing and migrating cloud applications, with a preference for Azure platform expertise. </li><li>Familiarity with OAuth authorization protocols in ASP.Net Core for secure authentication and authorization. </li><li>Experience utilizing Azure DevOps or GitLab for CI/CD pipeline management, version control, and team collaboration. </li><li>Understanding of U.S. Department of Defense security standards, policies, and procedures. </li><li>Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and incident escalation processes. </li></ul> <p>Additional Comments</p> <ul> <li>This is an onsite position supporting the Headquarters, U.S. Central Command J6 at MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida. </li><li>Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to work in a dynamic, mission-focused environment and willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10%. </li><li>The successful candidate will be adept at translating functional requirements into secure, maintainable, and scalable applications that drive operational effectiveness for defense missions. </li><li>Venatore offers a collaborative atmosphere that values technical skill, mission focus, and initiative as we support some of the nation's most vital operations. </li></ul>
