<p>About STMA Schools</p> <p>We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs over 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12. We also have a transition program for adults with disabilities ages 18-22.</p> <p>Position Overview & Responsibilities</p> <p>Under the direction of the director of special services, the School Psychologist conducts psycho-educational evaluations and monitors the completion of comprehensive special education evaluations. The School Psychologist participates in Individualized Education Program (IEP) conferences and problem-solving meetings designing systems, programs, and services that maximize students' social, emotional, and educational success. In collaboration with staff, families, students, and communities the school psychologist promotes safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments. This particular position will serve the preschool and elementary grade levels.</p> <p>Start date: August 25, 2025 to November 21st, 2025</p> <p>FTE: Part- to Full-time option</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm or part-time as available</p> <p>Requirements & Qualifications</p> <p>An Ed.S degree or equivalent in educational psychology and currently licensed in Minnesota as a School Psychologist; job experience preferred. Interns may also apply.</p> <p>Wages: Long-Term Substiute Certified Staff Rate with appropriate Certification (Tier 3 of 4) from PELSB: $249.55/8-hour day or $31.19/hour.</p> <p>Benefits: Available but without district contribution for fully certified teacher if contract days are less than 30; fully certified teachers with assignments longer than 30 days are entitled to District Contribution at the Full-time (1.0 FTE) benefit level, if working full-time. If working part-time benefits contribution may or may not be available depending on actual number of hours worked.
