<p>Who You'll Work With:</p> <p>We are seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst to join our Corporate Actions Department in the Institutional Investment Management Operations Team located in Nashville, Tennessee. This role requires liaising with internal and external stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks, and managing vendor data. This is a highly analytical role that requires continuous learning, strong leadership abilities, and a focus on continuous process improvement. This role involves working with a wide range of complex financial instruments and asset classes and requires a deep understanding of the impact of corporate events on these assets. The role also involves liaising with various internal and external stakeholders, including custodians, vendors, and senior management, to ensure timely and accurate processing of corporate actions. Overall, a Corporate Actions role offers a challenging and dynamic work environment that requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team.</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Confirming events with custodians and internal clients (Investment teams, Client Reporting, etc) </li><li>Applying AB's investment decisions with the Custodian banks in a timely and accurate manner prior to the custodian deadline (or market deadline if necessary). </li><li>Confirming accurate event details and the subsequent timely processing. </li><li>Supporting Corporate Action Events for all security types, including bank loan amendments and non-depository assets. </li><li>Ensuring compliance with AB Policy and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Participating in projects related to corporate actions and process improvements. </li><li>Identifying and mitigating risks related to corporate actions processing. </li><li>Developing and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. </li><li>Managing relationships with vendors and custodians to ensure service level agreements are met. </li><li>Providing support to other teams within AB as needed. </li><li>2 years of work experience in investment management operations or business analysis </li><li>Experience in Corporate Actions </li><li>Knowledge of multiple asset classes and how they can be used in portfolios. </li><li>Understand the risks related to corporate actions and related process controls and escalation frameworks. </li><li>The candidate should be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate great attention to detail, work well in a team setting, and be able to effectively handle changes with a positive outlook. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel. </li><li>Knowledge of Bloomberg Data and other financial service data vendors is a plus. </li><li></li></ul> <p>About AB</p> <p>We are a leading global investment management firm offering high-quality research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, retail investors, and private-wealth clients in major markets around the globe.
