<p>Reports to: Campus Principal</p> <p>Wage/Hour Status: Nonexempt</p> <p>Compensation Plan: Clerical/Paraprofessional</p> <p>Pay Grade: 03</p> <p>Minimun Hourly Rate: $17.40</p> <p>Minimum Annual Salary: $27,283</p> <p>Duty Days: 196 days per year</p> <p>Primary Purpose:</p> <p>Maintains accurate attendance records for the campus; Under direct supervision, perform data entry, including attendance, Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data, and grades.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education and Certification</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Two (2) years of clerical and data entry experience </li></ul> <p>Special Knowledge and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual preferred </li><li>Proficient keyboarding, file maintenance and 10-key stills </li><li>Ability to meet established deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ability to exercise good judgment in handling confidential information </li><li>Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace </li><li>Ability to exercise good judgment in handling confidential information </li><li>Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>Major Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <p>Records and Reports</p> <ul> <li>Collects and enters attendance and PEIMS data into established database and verify accuracy of according to established procedures. </li><li>Develops and maintains working relationships with all ten campuses registrars, attendance, and career counseling staff. </li><li>Prepares and prints reports, including attendance reports, grades, class or personnel rosters, end-of-semester reports, or accounting reports. </li><li>Maintains physical and computerized records, including student files, attendance documentation, progress and failure reports, class rosters, grade books, and schedule changes if applicable. </li><li>Maintains student records, attendance and grades for Out of District students and send information to corresponding schools. </li><li>Processes student tardy and dress code issues during student arrival times. </li><li>Processes OOD new student records, including requesting transcripts and records from other schools, setting up cumulative folder, and entering student data into appropriate databases. </li><li>Calls parents to verify student absences as needed. </li><li>Assists parents, students, and faculty with questions regarding student attendance and ATC credit recovery. </li><li>Reports all attendance problems to designated campuses attendance, counselor, and administration. </li><li>Maintains records and coordinates services for free/reduced breakfast and lunch students that stay on campus all day. </li><li>Prepares and distributes student identification cards and issue parking stickers. </li><li>Assists campus administration with the preparation of reports and student data information. </li><li>Answers incoming calls to campus, forward to appropriate staff, answer questions, and re-direct calls to appropriate people. </li><li>Points of contact for all emergency related issues on campus. </li><li>Provides direct care utilizing school health protocols and care plans established by the off-campus school nurse (RN). </li><li>Assists in campus office as needed. </li></ul> <p>Other Related Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Follows district safety protocols and emergency procedures. </li><li>Participates in professional development, department meetings, and special events as assigned. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:</p> <p>Tools and Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals</p> <p>Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting</p> <p>Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching</p> <p>Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)</p> <p>Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; may require occasional district-wide and statewide travel</p> <p>Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress</p> <p>This document describes the general purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties that may be assigned or skills that may be required.</p>
