At the CCIU, we pride ourselves on the creativity, dedication, and collaborative spirit that our employees bring to their work every day, and we know that achieving success together takes a team approach!</p> <p>We strive to hire exceptional, motivated, and passionate individuals that help us achieve our vision of acting as educational leaders who contribute to a better Chester County and beyond.</p> <p>If you are looking for an exciting, challenging opportunity to grow your career, don't wait - apply today to make Team CCIU even stronger tomorrow!</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma required </li><li>Current police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required prior to hire </li><li>PA school personnel health form required prior to hire </li><li>Must be able to lift between 20 to 35 lbs. consistently on a daily basis and up to 40 lbs. occasionally. </li></ul> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in the preparation and serving of quantity and quality food and to observe all methods of portion control in both preparation and serving then record on production sheet. </li><li>Participate with cooking and baking of food in ovens, steamers, on stoves and in microwaves. </li><li>Assist with family style service for Head Start as well as vending, catering, and cafeteria as needed. </li><li>Follow HACCP (Food Safety Plan) procedures, maintain sanitary conditions and complete necessary recording of all temperatures, etc. </li><li>Operate a point of sale (P.O.S.) computerized screen as per School Lunch Program guidelines, counts money, complete deposit slips and associated paperwork as needed. </li><li>Responsible for limited food purchasing. Follow proper procedures for receiving and storing all food and supplies. </li></ul> <p>Locations and hours:</p> <p>Child & Career Development Center - 1525 E.
