We've got some incredible shows coming up this season and need some more awesome team members to add to the mix.</p> <p>Surly's Festival Field is an outdoor venue that hosts an assortment of concerts over the summer and fall months. The role of a Festival Field Event Team Member is a seasonal, on-call role. Scheduling occurs on an as-needed basis. Shifts are not guaranteed based on availability. We require all employees be available to work at least three shows per season. Please review current show dates to verify you will be able to meet the requirements:</p> <p>Saturday, June 6 - Rodeo</p> <p>Saturday, June 20 - Concert</p> <p>Thursday, August 6 - Concert</p> <p>Saturday, August 15 -Concert</p> <p>Friday, August 28 - Concert</p> <p>Saturday, August 29 - Concert</p> <p>Saturday, September 26 - Event</p> <p>Saturday, October 3 -Surly Event</p> <p>Shifts typically run 3:00pm - 8:30pm or 4:30pm - 11:00pm (may vary with different show times)</p> <p>The hourly rate for Festival Field event team is $18 per hour.</p> <p>The following guidelines apply to all employees on the 2026 Festival Field events Team:</p> <p>Who:</p> <ul> <li>Members of Surly Nation who are passionate about our beer, our brand, and making sure those around them are having an excellent experience. </li><li>Focused, organized, hardworking individuals who are flexible and adaptable to the unpredictable nature of events. </li><li>A willingness to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving. </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time (6+ Hours). </li><li>Ability to be outdoors for long periods of time in varying environments (6+ hours). </li><li>Ability to lift and move items ranging from 20lbs to 50lbs. </li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older. </li></ul> <p>Team Requirements & Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Effectively communicate and manage schedules through email. </li><li>Must be available to be scheduled at least three shows during the season </li><li>Provide current contact information (phone, email) and schedule availability. </li><li>Respond to all work-related emails within 72 hours of receiving them. </li><li>All Festival Field team members must be ready and willing to work any role required of the event. </li><li>All Festival Field team members can expect event schedules to be sent out 2-3 weeks prior to their shift. </li><li>All Festival Field team members will be responsible for covering their shifts if they are no longer able to work them. </li><li>This is a non-tipped position. Cash and credit card tips will not be accepted during events. </li><li>Uniforms are provided for all Festival Field employees. </li><li>For each shift worked every Festival Field team member receives a voucher for 50% off at Surly to be used in the Beer Hall or Surly Pizza Upstairs, as well as a 25% off voucher to be used in the Surly Company Store. </li><li>This position will only be scheduled for our Festival Field events.
