<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Manage all aspects of plant's controls and electrical systems to ensure efficient plant operations.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <p>The Controls Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing all controls and electrical</p> <p>systems in the plant to include electrical design, PLC/HMI programming, reading and creating control schematics in AutoCAD Electrical, and maintaining and troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems.</p> <ul> <li>Design, build and maintain electrical/electronic systems and equipment: automated conveyor and packaging equipment, robotic cells, industrial communications networks, building HVAC and lighting </li><li>Oversee and manage site's electrical department </li><li>Design, draft, red-line, maintain, and organize wiring schematics and system drawings. </li><li>Adjust parameters in machines, VFDs, and servo motors </li><li>Troubleshoot and adjust PLC and HMI programs. </li><li>Electrically tune and troubleshoot equipment for proper operation. </li><li>Assist in the assembly, programming, and installation of equipment as necessary. </li><li>Provide training to internal personnel as necessary. </li><li>Clearly and professionally interact with internal personnel and external contractors. </li><li>Provide technical support for plant processes and improvements </li><li>Observe facility operations on a regular basis </li><li>Communicate with Supervisors on a daily basis </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>BSEE or BSEET Degree </li><li>2-7 years working experience in a related field. </li><li>Candidate must be familiar with Allen Bradley PLC Programming Software, FactoryTalk View </li><li>AutoCAD Electrical experience with projects and customization a plus </li><li>Strong candidates will also have experience programming and using: Siemens, B and R, Schneider, Omron, Beckhoff, AutomationDirect controllers </li><li>Basic knowledge of food processing plants and good manufacturing practices. </li><li>Basic knowledge of proper work ergonomics and OSHA requirements for industrial applications. </li><li>Attention to detail is a must </li><li>Self-motivated and proactive </li><li>Energetic, friendly, outgoing personality </li><li>Demonstrate creative thinking </li><li>Have a strong interest in Industrial Automation </li><li>Have a strong mechanical and electrical background </li><li>Willing to learn and grow with the company </li></ul> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) </li><li>Dental insurance </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Vision insurance </li></ul> <p>Work Location: In person</p>
